Inspect
Gal goes up, checks the insulation and any signs of leaks, droppings or damage, and shows you photos of what he found.

Old insulation out. Attic cleaned. New insulation in.
Thin, flat or dirty insulation lets the heat out on cold nights and the sun in all summer. G&G takes the old insulation out, cleans the attic and installs new, and you get photos of all of it.
With photos of what we find up there. Gal, the owner, calls to set a time.

The bedrooms under the attic feel it first: cold at night with the heat on, and hot again when summer comes.
Warm air rises. When the insulation on the attic floor is thin or flattened, the heat keeps going up and out, and the heater and the AC run longer.
Insulation that looks flat, patchy or dirty, has droppings in it, or leaves the tops of the joists showing.
A roof leak wets the insulation under it. Wet insulation flattens and stops working, and it can start to grow mold. G&G checks for that too.

If there is a leak, mold or a damaged ceiling, G&G fixes that too, in the same estimate. G&G also does mold remediation.
G&G job

The old insulation comes out and the attic is cleaned. New insulation goes in across the attic floor at the depth your house needs, and you get photos of the finished attic.

Kitchens and bathrooms G&G has finished. Whatever the attic job turns up below it, the same licensed contractor can fix.
“They finished on time (early, even!), and on budget.”

Yes. Old, flattened or dirty insulation comes out and the attic is cleaned before the new insulation goes in.
Yes. Attic cleaning is part of replacing the insulation, and you can also book it on its own.
Insulation keeps heat where you want it, so the heater and the AC run less. ENERGY STAR says sealing air leaks and adding insulation can “provide up to a 10% savings on your annual energy bills.” Your result depends on your house.
We'll show you and include it in the estimate. G&G does mold remediation and repairs too, so one contractor handles all of it.
G&G Remodeling, a licensed general contractor (CA #1101932). Gal, the owner, does the inspection and the estimate.
